Our Pick on the Amalfi Coast

Listen to what tourists had to say about the best place you can stay for "Amalficoasting"

By Amalfi Coasting

The Amalfi Coast’s most well-known towns are Positano, Amalfi and Ravello, three jewels, each with its own unique character and beauty and all world renowned.

But at the heart of the Costiera is a forth jewel, Praiano, a lesser known, and therefore, less hectic and more authentic town.

Praiano is where many discerning tourists have begun to stay, using the peaceful, beautiful town as their base for Amalfi Coasting.

Five miles to the north of Praiano is great shopping in Positano. Five miles to the south is Amalfi with its beautiful Duomo. A bit further up in the mountains are the breathtaking views of Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone in Ravello.

After taking in any one of these experiences, it is a luxury to be able to go back and relax in Praiano, free of the crowds.

It is truly the best way to enjoy the Coast. But we are not asking you to just trust us. We are asking to listen to those who came before you.

So, watch the video below of tourists talking about Praiano

Amalfi Coasting is a “pet project” of a community organization started in the town of Praiano in 2013. We developed this web site as a tool to invite people from all over the world to get to know our town, discover its "secrets" and embrace it not just as a great tourist destination but also as a community, with its people, its traditions and all of its offerings.
